    This isn't helping euro any. The euro has been on the slide since news hit major wire service. Highest level of overnight borrowing since June 2009. We've been as low as 1.3538, presently at 1.3540.

    Well talk of half a yard of EUR/USD buying interest lined up around 1.3550 has been enough to ellicit a bit of a bounce. We're presently back up at 1.3583. Sources note Middle Eastern sovereign selling above 1.3580. Has slowed, but not reversed rally as yet. UPDATE: Has now

    Down presently at 1.3556, with real money selling notable in latest leg lower. Talk is there is decent-sized buy interest in place around the 50 level (half a yard touted). This doesn't mean we can't go lower, but does help explain the current pause.
