Estimates are for $300 bln in reconstruction costs before all is said and done. Talk is of a massive jump in the national sales tax to pay for it all. That will undoubtedly crimp growth going forward.

Greece investigating “rumor-mongers”

Don't speculate on Greece needing to restructure their debt or you may be investigated... Maybe Greece should check out the credit default swap market. The price of CDS project something like 60% odds that Greece will be forced to restructure its crushing debt burden.
